SDTCA/Cenzone Tech Inc. Scholarship Criteria & Application

Since 2012, the SDTCA/Cenzone Tech Inc. Scholarship have awarded scholarships to outstanding college students whose parents or grandparents are current members of SDTCA.

The total amount of the scholarship is $12,000, it will be awarded to 6 applicants with $2,000 each (if more than 6 winners, each shares the scholarship equally). Scholarships will be formally awarded at the annual “SDTCA Mid-Autumn Festival Event”.

Scholarship Criteria:

1. Applicant’s parents/grandparents or themselves must be members of SDTCA in the current year as well as the preceding year (No age limitation).
2. Applicant must currently be attending a college or university and enrolled as an undergraduate student.
3. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0 on his or her most recent transcript.
4. Applicant must show scholastic achievement, maintain good conduct in the community, demonstrate community leadership, and show other achievements and interests.
5. Applicant can only be awarded this scholarship once.

To be considered, the applicant must include the following in his or her application:

1. Cover Letter
2. Applicant must include his or her most recent transcript.
3. Applicant must include two letters of recommendation as follows:
1. Applicant must obtain a written recommendation from a member of the SDTCA.
2. Applicant must obtain a written recommendation from a member of the faculty at the school in   which he or she is enrolled.
4. Applicant must complete the Scholarship Application Form (available at SDTCA).
5. One applicant per family, scholarship can be received only once.

Submission of Application:
All of the above materials must be RECEIVED no later than August 31, 2015
