聖地牙哥台灣同鄉會 —「吳榮富博士、張翹楚博士獎學金」申請辦法

聖地牙哥台灣同鄉會自2012年起將設立「吳榮富博士、張翹楚博士獎學金」，以表揚並獎勵聖地牙哥台灣同鄉會會員子弟。
每年甄選名額三名，每名獎學金為美金兩仟元。申請截止日期為每年七月十五日。
聖地牙哥台灣同鄉會將於每年慶祝中秋節晚會時頒獎。

申請資格 :
1. 聖地牙哥台灣同鄉會會員之子弟，目前就讀於北美州公私立大學之大學部。
2. 品學兼優並對社團服務有貢獻的領導人才。
3. GPA 3.3 以上。

申請文件 :
1. 影印學業成績單一份。
2. 推薦書二份，其中一份由就讀學校的教授提供，另一份由聖地牙哥台灣同鄉會會員提供。
3. 申請表一份 (請下載)。

2012 SDTCA/Drs. Jung-Fu & Jennie Wu Scholarship Criteria & Application

The SDTCA/Drs. Jung-Fu & Jennie Wu Scholarship will award 3 scholarships to outstanding college students whose parents or grandparents are current members of SDTCA.

The award for each student is $2,000. Scholarships will be formally awarded at the annual “SDTCA Mid-Autumn Festival Event”.

Scholarship Criteria:
1. Applicant’s parents or grandparents must be current members of SDTCA
2. Applicant must currently be attending a college or university in North America and enrolled as an undergraduate student.
3. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 on his or her most recent transcript.
4. Applicant must show scholastic achievement, maintain good conduct in the community, demonstrate community leadership, and show other achievements and interests.

To be considered, the applicant must include the following in his or her application:
1. Applicant must complete the Scholarship Application Form (Download here).
2. Applicant must include his or her most recent transcript.
3. Applicant must include two letters of recommendation as follows:
1) Applicant must obtain a written recommendation from a member of the SDTCA.
2) Applicant must obtain a written recommendation from a member of the faculty at the school in which he or she is enrolled.

Submission of Application:
All of the above materials must be RECEIVED no later than July 15, 2012
