音樂與電影欣賞俱樂部一月份活動報導

1/23/10 星期六，音樂與電影欣賞俱樂部觀賞歌劇魅影 (Phantom of Opera) DVD。
歌劇魅影是法國著名小說家Gaston Leroux創作的小說，1909年11月19日首次連載於Le Garlois雜誌報章，起初銷售情況不佳，甚至快絕版。1911年翻成英文、1925年改編成電影。後來在1986年由Andrew Webber改編成音樂歌劇並在Broadway（百老匯）演出。Phantom of Opera是百老匯歷史上演出時間最長，票房最賣座的秀。

當天，本人用鋼琴彈了主要三首(歌詞如下) ，在此做個簡介：

接著就由外子李敏修講解劇情，以及歌曲與劇情的搭配。

故事關於是一位歌唱天才，由於臉部畸形而受虐待，從小在馬戲團被當作玩物。他逃離戲團後開始在巴黎歌劇院地下定居，後來逐漸被年輕的舞蹈演員克莉絲汀吸引，決定幫助其成為優秀的女歌手。他以幽靈般的身分不斷出現並教授對方歌唱技巧，同時不斷積累了自己對其的瘋狂愛戀之情，但是當對方真正成名後，其周圍又突然出現了一位青梅竹馬的貴族子弟勞爾。由於忌妒，魅影開始逐漸陷入更深的瘋狂，三人之間的愛戀漩渦逐漸達到最高峰。但最後女主角姬絲汀用自己偉大的愛情感化了魅影，和勞爾一起得到了幸福，而魅影則徹底消失在人們的視野面前。

本次活動由曾俊隆(Jerry)醫師提供及播放DVD共140分鐘，當天大家都欣賞得非常愉快。該DVD（附有英文註解）已捐給台灣中心圖晝館，以便鄉親借閱。
