I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for making the Cenzone Tech Inc. and Professor Young Chen Memorial Scholarship possible. I was thrilled to learn of my selection for this honor and I am deeply appreciative of your support.
I am a double major in Finance and Ethics and Public Policy, with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. I plan to pursue Law School after I graduate from the University of Iowa and hope to practice International Law. I am currently a sophomore and plan to graduate in the spring of 2020. This past semester, I received a 3.8 GPA and I plan to continue to emphasize my studies. Thanks to you, I have the ability to better my learning environment.
By awarding me the Cenzone Tech Inc. and Professor Young Chen Memorial Scholarship, you have helped me fund the purchase of a new computer that will help me improve my learning, as I will have endless opportunities with this laptop, compared to my old one. I am exceptionally happy to be a recipient of the 2017 SDTCA Cenzone Tech Inc. Scholarship/Professor Young Chen Memorial Scholarship. This letter is to thank you for your generous funding for this scholarship.
I am a junior studying business administration and marketing at California State University, Fullerton, and I hope to graduate in May 2019. Receiving this scholarship not only helps me and my family pay for ever-rising tuition, but also brings me closer towards my career aspirations. I dream of a career where I can utilize my experiences and identity as a Taiwanese American to bring people, businesses, and communities together as well as advance relations and trade between Taiwan and the U.S., and possibly other countries. Just this summer, I interned for Taiwan Tech Trek and was able to gain some firsthand experience of the Taiwanese industry and culture; this internship experience has helped clarify my goals as a business student and has expanded my multicultural perspective.

As of this August, I am a sophomore history major at Rice University and am enjoying my studies and university life. I’m a captain of my powderpuff football team, play sand volleyball, and am involved with campus government. This award helps to support me in my academic pursuits and makes it possible for me to focus and work hard on my studies as well as participate in activities I am passionate about. I would like to express my deepest appreciation for your generous donation to the SDTCA scholarship. It is an honor to be chosen for this award especially because, being only half Taiwanese and growing up in Chicago, I have sometimes lost my sense of what it means to be Taiwanese. Your generosity inspires me to reflect on my culture and past and understand myself and my ancestors better. Your generosity also inspires me to make you proud by paying it forward and helping others.
In my second year at Duke University I am planning on majoring in Economics with a concentration in Energy and the Environment as well as doing undergraduate research on ocean energy sources and participating in sports and volunteer organizations. I am writing to thank you for your generous scholarship. I am very grateful that I was selected to be the recipient of the scholarship.
I am a Psychology major studying at Biola University. After graduating, I plan to attend graduate school to earn my MA and PsyD. I am interested in pursuing Clinical Psychology. My goal is to graduate a semester early in December of 2018 and use that semester off to get connected with an internship which will provide me with more experience. I have a passion to help others who are struggling and going through difficult times and also to bring about mental health awareness.
Your generous contribution is allowing me to further pursue my dream. Through this scholarship, some of my financial burden has been lightened. This scholarship will help me progress on my journey of giving back to the community through my help of others. Thank you for aiding me in my educational journey which will eventually have a large impact on my future life and career.
