I am writing to thank you for the honor of the Cenzone Scholarship. I am honored to receive the scholarship and am deeply appreciative of your support. I am currently a Communications major with a minor in Applied Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I am a sophomore and am beginning to explore graduate programs and internships. At this point, my goal is to pursue a career in marketing and advertising. Thanks to your scholarship, I will be able to continue my education at UCSB and have the opportunity to explore my career and future options. I am currently serving as the Merchandise Specialist of my sorority, and am an intern for an online publication called Her Campus. Thank you for supporting international students like me at UCSB. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and I hope to give back to others in the future, just like you gave to me. Sincerely,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally accept the 2024 SDTCA Cenzone Scholarship that has been awarded to me. I am deeply honored and grateful to receive this scholarship, which will significantly aid me in following my educational goals at Pomona College. I am committed to making the most of this opportunity, and take pride in my academic and athletic pursuits. My grandmother was a long-time member of the San Diego Taiwanese Cultural Association, and my grandfather still is a long-time member of the San Diego Taiwanese Cultural Association, so I am excited that I am able to represent them by receiving this scholarship. It means a lot to me that I have been awarded this scholarship that has a direct connection to them, as it feels as if I am picking up their legacy. At Pomona College, I am working toward a computer science and economics double major. In addition to my major classes, attending a liberal arts college allows me to broaden my horizons and learn more about topics that I have not formally known, such as Asian Traditions. I am also part of the Division Three football team here, which takes a lot of my time. This is a big part of why this financial assistance is much appreciated, and i am extremely grateful for this opportunity. Once again, thank you awarding me with the 2024 SDTCA Cenzone scholarship. Thank You, ………………………………………………………………
It is an honor to be able to receive this award and I
have nothing but gratitude and appreciation for the SDTCA members who
made this possible. My family and I will go on trips back to Taiwan to
visit family every three to four years and when that time of year finally
comes around, it is with certainty that I always encounter one thing when
we arrive. That is the compassion of the people of Taiwan. I feel it with
my family there and I can feel it within this association. To those who
have come together to support Taiwanese students, I want you all to know
it is like a pillar of hope seeing such an amicable and generous community
show unwavering support to this coming generation. It is this tradition
and generosity that will inspire Taiwanese students to become the best
of their potential and excel in their careers. With this scholarship,
it eases my stress of financial stability and motivates me to work even
harder in school knowing I am here With gratitude,
