2022 新種獎學金得主得獎感言

Dear Dr. Wu,

My name is Kaylana Lee, and I recently received the Cenzone Tech Inc. Scholarship through the San Diego Taiwanese Cultural Association (SDTCA). Thank you so much for this opportunity, and for selecting me to be a recipient. It truly means so much to me, and I am so grateful for your generosity.

I am going into my second year at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as a psychobiology major. I am on the pre-medical track, so I am hoping to go to medical school after I graduate at UCLA. I am hoping to become a pediatrician or an OBGYN after medical school! In addition to my studies I am involved in the Taiwanese American Student Association (TASA) at UCLA. I am on the board for TASA at UCLA, and will help plan events this year. I look forward to spreading knowledge about and appreciation for Taiwanese culture through this position.

This scholarship is very meaningful to me, and I truly can not say thank you enough. I hope you have a great week, and I wish you all the best going forward.

Gratefully,

Kaylana Lee

Dear Dr. Wu,

My name is Nicholas Chen, a sophomore at American University and one of the recipients of the SDTCA/Cenezone Tech Inc. scholarship. I am writing today to thank you for your generosity in sponsoring this award, and to express how honored I am to be selected as a scholarship recipient.

Growing up, my parents taught me that nothing is more valuable than a good work ethic and a quality education. Your scholarship has given me the chance to work even harder for an even higher quality education, an opportunity which has a value that cannot be understated. Indeed, scholarships such as yours have a profound impact on unleashing student potential by giving them the financial freedom to explore an array of enriching opportunities. Personally, I plan on using your scholarship to further pursue my research interest in U.S-Taiwan relations in the hopes of creating policy that can better secure Taiwan’s future.

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. Best wishes in all of your future
endeavors.

Sincerely,
Nicholas Chen
